Capillary electrophoresis is a highly sensitive separation technique with ultra-high resolution and very low volume, making it ideal for analyzes where the sample quantity is limited. The technique is used in a broad range of applcations, from ion analysis to monoclonal antibodies, proteins and glycan analysis. Recirculating liquid coolants dissipate "excess" heat much more effectively than air-cooled systems. Efficient heat dissipation is critical in Capillary Electrophoresis to allow for the usage of higher conductivity buffers. The benefit is more flexibility in sample load and the ability to create better separation efficiencies with the use of higher ionic strength buffers.
