Multiplex instrument
Luminex 200 er et multiplex instrument baseret på xMAP teknologien (Multi-Analyte Profiling) der giver mulighed for bestemmelse og kvantificering af multiple RNA eller proteiner simultant. Der benyttes en bead baseret teknologi som gør det muligt at analysere op til 100 analytter simultant fra hver enkelt brønd i mikrotiter plade format.
Et attraktivt alternativ til traditionelle qPCR og ELISA metoder hvor mange analyser kan køres på en gang. Der skal kun bruges et meget lille volumen til Luminex baserede analyser. Én enkelt dråbe af plasma, serum eller celle lysat er nok til at benytte xMAP teknologien.
